According to a release from the Laramie Police Department, a University of Wyoming student died early this morning after police responded to a call about a male subject not breathing.

Officers from the Laramie Police Department responded to the 1700 block of Person Street at 4:45 a.m. on January 31, 2015. According to the release, police located the subject, identified as 18-year-old Triston Harvey, and confirmed that he was not breathing and had no pulse. Officers began CPR and continued until it was taken over by members of the Laramie Fire Department ambulance crew.

Harvey, a University of Wyoming student, was transported to Ivinson Memorial Hospital where he later died, according to the release.

The cause of death has not yet been determined, and the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death is continuing.

Lieutenant Gwendolyn Smith with the Laramie Police Department said in an e-mail that the investigation is very active and no other information can be released at this time.
