Fort D.A. Russell Days honors and reveals the work and dedication it takes to secure the peace for our nation past and present, or “From Muskets To Missiles.”

Fort D.A. Russell Days provides access to F.E. Warren Air Force Base where you can see how the fort came to be in 1867 up to modern missile base it is today. See the inner workings of the mightiest  military in the world, defending us from any  who would threaten our great nation. Peace through strength.

This family friendly event has Living History Camps on the Parade Field, Mountain Man Rendezvous (1840’s), Traders Row, Military Camp (1870’s) and WWII, Cavalry Rodeo/Military Demonstration, ICBM Missile Museum, missile

Meet the “Missileers” and see how our missile defense system works. I found the tour of the true to life training facilities incredibly interesting and could have spent hour and hours learning more about this amazing facility and the dedicated men and women who make it all happen.

From Muskets to Missiles, from earth to sky, Fort D.A. Russell Days takes you from 1776 to July of 2015. Amazingly educational and respectfully entertaining for the family, and surprisingly…. its free.

You can only get on base once a year and this is that time, Fort D.A. Russell Days at F.E. Warren AFB
