Thinking about planning your summer entertainment calendar?

Maybe you haven't thought about the Denver Botanic Gardens as a concert venue. Their three Denver area locations will host bands like Boz Scaggs in July and Yes with Toto in August. Take a look at the variety of artists in their lineup.

The Denver Botanic Gardens annual Summer Concert Series tickets go on sale April 21 to the public and are already on sale to Garden members. This year's shows begin June 16 and run through August 30 when Yes and Toto perform at the Gardens' Chatfield location, 8500 West Deer Creek Canyon Road in Littleton. Their other locations are 1007 York Street and the UMB Bank Amphitheater. The 2015 lineup includes:

  • June 16-Hot Rize (York Street)
  • June 22-Cooder-White-Skaggs (York Street)
  • July 14-Boz Scaggs (York Street)
  • July 15-Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers (York Street)
  • July 28-Sugar Ray, Better Than Ezra, Uncle Kracker and Eve 6 ( Chatfield)
  • August 3-Melissa Etheridge (York Street)
  • August 4-Ziggy Marley (York Street)
  • August 9-Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn (York Street)
  • August 18-Gipsy Kings (York Street)
  • August 30-Yes and Toto (Chatfield)

Visitors can bring lawn chairs and blankets to the show as well as food and beverages including alcoholic drinks. It's a great way to enjoy a day in park and watch some fantastic bands in the fresh mile-high air.
