I discovered rock music when my older brother brought home a mix-tape with AC/DC and Maiden. Twisted Sister was my favorite band in the fourth grade. My Top 5 Concerts are: Pink Floyd at Mile High Stadium, Tool at Coachella (Madonna was there too), Peter Gabriel, KISS Reunion Tour 97, and the Fleetwood Mac Reunion 97. The person I most admire is George Carlin. My favorite hobby is consumption. It’s always cool to hear from listeners, so feel free to send me your questions, comments, criticisms and suggestions : rick
I've been in radio since 2001 and moved around a few times before landing where I am now. I'm married with three children. I'm an autism acceptance advocate. I love to cook, just don't like doing the dishes afterward. I have a knack for all things nostalgic from the '80s and '90s, love breakfast cereal a little too much and am a huge fan of video games, especially retro games from Atari to Nintendo and beyond.
I grew up in Riverton and began my radio career at KTAK/KVOW. I became the station's youngest Sports Director in history and was recognized by the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters for 'Best Sports Coverage' in 2009. I spent three years in Las Vegas working at CBS, Beasley Broadcasting, and covering mixed martial arts before coming back to Wyoming. I am an avid fan of all sports, all music, and traveling to new places.
Growing up, my parents were always told: "Your son is going to grow-up to be either a Senator or a Radio DJ." Well, they were right. I hate politics and I love music. I reason the reason my 'rents always heard this was my non-stop chatter. I never shut up. One day they gave me a microphone and put that talent to good use. I believe that music is the only thing that separates us from the animals... Well, that and opposable thumbs. I have always had a love for all types of music and I am blessed to be working a career that involves listening to music all day
Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, I got my start in radio with a fight in school -- yeah, no kidding! Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I served the U.S. Army in South Korea and worked for several years as a fire fighter. When I'm not at home or work you can catch me building haunted houses.
Hey, I'm Jess! I can't even begin to tell you how honored I am to do what I do for you! I've been in broadcast for quite a few years and have lived in a few places in my day; San Diego, Waco, and New York City. Don't let my classy, sophisticated appearance (yeah, I wish) fool you, I'm a tomboy at heart. I could sit here and tell you I love pop culture, sports, a good glass of wine, working out, blah blah blah... But it all boils down to these things, I am as cheesy as they come, I believe love and laughter are the greatest medicine, and I speak fluent sarcasm
