I discovered rock music when my older brother brought home a mix-tape with AC/DC and Maiden. Twisted Sister was my favorite band in the fourth grade. My Top 5 Concerts are: Pink Floyd at Mile High Stadium, Tool at Coachella (Madonna was there too), Peter Gabriel, KISS Reunion Tour 97, and the Fleetwood Mac Reunion 97. The person I most admire is George Carlin. My favorite hobby is consumption. It’s always cool to hear from listeners, so feel free to send me your questions, comments, criticisms and suggestions : rick
How are you feelin'? I'm married with three kids, love cooking (when I find the time) and love old video games. I'm a retro nerd who loves to reminisce about the '80s and '90s and am an autism-awareness advocate. - PSN, Xbox Live and Wii U, game with me! @johnblueriggs (also on Instagram, Twitter and Pintrest)
Growing up, my parents were always being told "Your son is going to grow-up to be either a Senator or a Radio DJ." Well, they were right. I hate politics and I love music. I reason my 'rents always heard this from people was because of my non stop chatter. For my entire life I have not shut up. Finally, one day they gave me a microphone and put it to good use. I believe that music is the only thing that separates us from the animals...Well, that and opposable thumbs
Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, I got my start in radio with a fight in school -- yeah, no kidding! Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I served the U.S. Army in South Korea and worked for several years as a fire fighter. When I'm not at home or work you can catch me building haunted houses.
