Do you have any artwork by famous painters hanging on your walls?

The Denver Art Museum's 'Passport to Paris' exhibit wraps up this Sunday, February 9, and due to it's popularity, their website strongly recommends purchasing your tickets in advance for this weekend. The exhibit features works by Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Paul Cezanne, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas and others.

More than 30 landscape paintings in the 'Passport to Paris' exhibit come from the private collection of Frederic C. Hamilton. The Colorado collector and philanthropist is donating 22 of them to the Denver Art Museum upon his death.

With all these paintings by some of the most famous artists in the world only 100 miles away, I'm wondering whose art do you have in your house?
We have a print of Vincent van Gogh's 'Starry Night over the Rhone' hanging in our living room. I also have a Salvador Dali print.
I would have to say the Spanish surrealist is my favorite famous painter. I like the way he adds quirky details to a lot of his works that you may not notice at first glance.
Dali's best known work is 'The Persistence of Memory' which features soft, melting pocket watches with even an orange one covered in ants, a recurring image in his paintings.
Salvador Dali's also my favorite because of his wacky personality and of course his mustache.
Who would you consider your favorite famous painter?
