It's the age of transportation via app. Apps like Uber, Sidecar, and Lyft  have taken off in populated areas. In fact, a lot of major cities are worried about traditional taxi companies surviving because of how easy and popular these ride services are.

The least populated city with Uber I found was Reading, PA at just under 90,000 residents.

At around 63,000 residents, I'm curious if you think Cheyenne needs Uber or another app related ride service.

Another factor to keep in mind is that Uber requires communities to have at least 100 drivers.

I think it would be huge in the summer, especially during events like Frontier Days, but likely very slow in the winter. I'd also worry about taking business from already existing taxi services in Cheyenne - but it would be extremely convenient.  What do you think?
