So Netflix has a live streaming countdown early on New Year's Eve to make the kids think it's midnight. Don't do that, come to our Kids New Year's Eve Party inside the Depot.

This is so night right in so many ways. Kids want to stay up with the grown ups, but the grown ups don't want the kids up too late—plus the party doesn't really start until the little ones are asleep. Netflix has made it easy to fake the midnight hour with a countdown timer based on their new kid-focused series, "All Hail King Julien." The countdown is around three minutes long and can be started whenever you like. It features King Julien and a cast of other animal characters partying like it's 1999 in the jungle, so kids will likely find it somewhat entertaining.

Join me Uncle Buck for the KID'S NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTYfrom 4p-6p (Free) in the warmth of the Depot lobby. We have a tone of fun planned for the kids and no trickery. But we do have a ball drop and fireworks

We’ll kick off the festivities at 4 pm on New Year’s Eve for a free family event with the Children’s Museum Board. We’ll have lots of games and activities for the kids, including a juggler, crafts and a fireworks show just for the young ones.  The children’s party will conclude with a mini ball drop at 6 pm.
