Driver Crashes Into Family Dollar Store

A 2011 Ford Edge crashed into the Family Dollar located at 3421 E Lincolnway at 10:40 p.m. Sunday night, according to Cheyenne Police spokesman Officer Dan Long

The driver, 20 year old James Bergeron of Cheyenne, was arrested for DUI, a suspended driver’s license, possession of marijuana, failure to maintain lane, expired registration, and no proof of insurance.

Police say Bergeron was westbound on East Lincolnway when his vehicle crossed the center line and then through the eastbound lanes before crashing through the wall of the dollar store.

He was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center for evaluation before being booked into the Laramie County Jail
