Last week, we drove from Seattle to Cheyenne with the dogs headed to our new home here in Cheyenne.

We came into the state through Jackson Hole and took US 26 to Riverton and Thermopolis. From the high elevations near Jackson and Yellowstone it reminded us of Alaska, our former home. The trip from Riverton to Rawlins was unique in all aspects.

US 287 was like driving on the moon. The landscape of Wyoming is so varied and beautiful. We stayed over in Thermopolis and enjoyed the mineral springs and the town. Boysen State Park looks like a grand place this Spring and Summer to camp and fish.

We are headed to Saratoga this weekend to check out the hot springs there. Can't wait to share the pictures of Central Wyoming and Saratoga with you soon.
