East to Host Central in First Round Playoff Game

Cheyenne East will host Cheyenne Central in the first round of the Class 4a football playoffs Friday at 5pm at Okie Blanchard Stadium. East will be the number 4 seed following a 31-21 road loss to defending state 4a champion Sheridan on October 19th. Central, meanwhile, vanquished Casper Kelly Walsh 27-21 to grab the number 5 seed. East defeated Central in their regular season meeting 42-28. Other first round 4A action has Casper Natrona (1 seed) hosting (8) Rock Springs. Sheridan (3) hosting Casper Kelly Walsh (6) and Gillette (2) hosting Evanston (7), with all of those games slated for Friday, October 26.
