According to Bank of America, their customers may receive scam emails in the inboxes. However, the emails look completely legit, and here's what to do about it.

Bank of America has warned customers about emails that look just like something the bank would send out, except it is a scam.

One of the big things to look for is the fake email address from the sender. If you look in the address box, the address may look something like xs_03ods@xos.com. Looks goofy doesn't it? That's because it is.

The redirect link will take you to someone in the Philippines. This is not good at all.

Should you receive an email from what looks like Bank of America, don't open it. When in doubt, check it out with the bank and avoid hassles later on.
