Feathers Will Fly At Cheyenne Ice and Events Center ‘Chicken Curling’ Event

Fresh off their victory at the Winter Olympics, the USA Curling Team recieved a hero's welcome this week. The Cheyenne Ice and Events Center will be celebrating America's first gold medal in the sport at their annual Chicken Curling tournament next month.

The feathers will fly on Saturday, March 24th. Now in its fifth year, the double elimination event will feature teams of four hurling frozen chickens on the ice. Registration is underway at the Ice and Events Center, or by calling 433-0024.

Chicken Curling is one of several events on the Ice and Events Center calendar. Saturday, March 17th, families are invited to boogie down at Disco On Ice. They're also hosting a Michael Jackson Tribute Concert on April 24th.
