Finally – A Bit Of Good News For Cheyenne Business
Cheyenne has seen the doors close at Sutherlands and the building is still empty. We’ve seen the demise of Kmart, Sports Authority, IBMC, Dress Barn, Payless Shoes and other recent closures in Cheyenne.
Finally, there’s a bit of good news on the business front; The opening of a new AutoZone on the city’s south side, which has not seen much investment for a while.
On the South Greeley Highway at Allison, the new store’s construction has been in high gear since the beginning of May, with workers putting in long hours, even on Sundays.
Construction should be done within a week and the manager said they will be open around the end of August or the first of September. Most positions are full, but not all.
It’s one store, but any opening doors is better than closing doors for our town.
