Have you been doing any gardening this summer?

A fun way to remember your gardening adventures is to learn how to press some of your specimens with the Flower Pounding Workshop at the Paul Smith Children's Village in Lions Park on Tuesday, September 1.

Create a one-of-a-kind memory of this summer's growing season by beating the dye out of freshly picked flowers onto watercolor paper at the Paul Smith Children's Village in the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens. It's going to be a very loud and fragrant art project starting at 4 p.m. and the cost is $1.

Also this week at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, they will be creating Sidewalk Chalk Rockets at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2. The cost of this workshop is also $1. The art in this project is made by a chemical reaction, a nice mixture of science and art.

The Paul Smith Children's Village in Lions Park has a full schedule of interactive workshops and events this month, check out their calendar here. The 6th Annual Mad Hatter Fun raiser is coming up on Sunday, September 13, at 2 p.m. Get your tickets early before they sell out.
