I’ve been talking a lot about going on a diet and shed those pounds.  But dieters beware, according to this, for every 7 pounds you lose, you also lose one friend!

According to this study by the Daily Mail, that involved more than 2,500 people who've dieted in the past 18 months, 81% said they've lost at least one friend because of their weight loss.  65% said they lost a good friend out of jealousy over their weight loss success, 53% said they lost a friend due to lifestyle changes from the diet.

Was it worth the weight loss to lose a friend?  Apparently so, because nearly ALL of them said they would do it all over again to lose weight.  92% of them said that losing those extra pounds made “a significant positive impact” on their lives, even though they lost a friend in the process.

Have you ever lost a friend after losing weight?
