Forever West Fest Entertainment Includes BeatGrass September 6

Are you looking for some live entertainment this weekend?

The first ever Forever West Fest, hosted by the Freedom's Edge Brewing Company, runs September 6 through 8 on Carey Avenue between 15th and 16th Streets. The event will feature a vairety of music, food, activities and beer.The local bluegrass band, BeatGrass, kicks off the musical entertainment on Friday, September 6, at 7 p.m. The music continues on Saturday, September 7, with Grey Weather beginning at 3 p.m. and Brand 307 at 7 p.m.

On Sunday, September 8, the Forever West Fest will feature a Home Brewer's Competition.

The weekend festivities will also include a 5k mud run, the Prairie Dash, and a free petting zoo at the stables, 15th Street and Carey Avenue.

Owner of the Freedom's Edge Brewing Company, Tim Moore, says a portion of the proceeds raised will go to the Boy's and Girls Club of Cheyenne and a separate raffle will benefit the Black Dog Animal Rescue on House Avenue.
