Jake E. Lee is best known as Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist from 1982 through 1987. He's lucky to be alive after a limousine he was riding in caught on fire and burst into flames on a busy California highway.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon while Lee's band 'Red Dragon Cartel' was headed to a show outside of San Jose, California. As they traveled down Interstate I-280, an electrical short caused smoke to rise inside the 30 feet stretch Hummer limousine they had rented for the day.

Luckily, the driver pulled over and the band was able to escape before fire engulfed the vehicle. Two lanes of traffic on the Interstate were closed for over an hour while emergency crews extinguished the blaze.

Meanwhile, the band made it safely to the club, just in time to soundcheck for their gig that evening.
