Former Wyoming Quarterback Brett Smith Released by Toronto Argonauts

What ever happened to former Wyoming Cowboy quarterback Brett Smith?

He was playing on the practice squad of the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League up until September 6 when he was released by the team.

Brett Smith was released along with fellow quarterback Casey Pachall. The Argonauts signed former Middle Tennessee State quarterback Logan Kilgore to it's practice squad's roster that same day.

After not being taken in the 2014 NFL draft, Smith was signed by Tampa Bay. He was cut by the Buccaneers on May 21 of this year.

Smith still holds several records at the University of Wyoming including most career touchdowns at 97, most career passing touchdowns with 76 and most career offensive yards with a total of 10, 390.
