Do you remember Summer nights at the drive-in movie theater?

The Cheyenne Parks and Recreation Department brings back memories of watching movies in the great outdoors with their free movies in the park every Tuesday night throughout the Summer. They blow up their inflatable screen on the stage of the Lion's Park Amphitheatre and begin the film just after dark.

Free popcorn is provided and other food and drink is available for purchase. Just bring your own chairs, blankets, bug spray and the entire family.

Tonight's free movie is The Bucket List starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, the 2008 film directed by Rob Reiner.

The schedule for the remainder of the Summer movies in the park includes:

-King Kong on June 28 (the 1933 original)

-Despicable Me showing July 5

-Iron Man 2 on July 12

-Dirty Dancing will be shown July 19

-Grown Ups on August 2

-E.T. the Extra-terrestrial coming up on August 9

-Megamind will finish off the Summer movies on August 16.
