Cheyenne Fire&Rescue and the Cheyenne's Domino's Pizza stores will be using free pizza to promote fire safety next week.

The program is schedule for October 7-10 as part of Fire Prevention Week, which is October 5-11. During pre-selected times Domino's pizza deliveries will be made aboard a fire truck from the local fire station.

The Domino's deliver person will follow in his or her vehicle with the pizza order. When the pizza arrives, firefighters will check the home for working smoke alarms. If the alarms work, the order is free. If the batteries are dead, the firefighters will install new batteries.

This is the seventh year National Fire Protection and the Domino's chain have joined forces to promote fire safety.
