Fugitive Captured In Colorado

A spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service says Mark ''Ashton'' Aguilar was captured in Denver early this morning (Sept. 23).

Aguilar had been sought by the Wyoming Fugitive Task Force on a felony warrant for aggravated assault with a gun. The warrant was through the Laramie County Sheriff's Department. Aguilar was arrested without incident by the U.S. Marshal Service-led Colorado Violent Fugitive task force.

He is currently awaiting extradition back to Wyoming, according to Marshals Service Spokesman Justin Stephenson. He says tips from the public were a major help in finding Aguilar.
