The Wyoming Cowboy men’s basketball team will be featured on television 16 times during the upcoming 2018-19 season.

The Mountain West Conference and its TV partners announced their package, which allowed UW to release its slate with game times and television coverage.

The first TV game is the season opener versus UC Santa Barbara Tuesday, Nov. 6 on AT&T SportsNet from the Arena-Auditorium at 8 p.m. That’s the first of five appearances on that network during the season. The Pokes will also face conference foes Colorado State, Air Force, and Utah State in games on AT&T SportsNet.

Wyoming will play four times on an ESPN Network, highlighted by defending MW champion Nevada’s visit to Laramie, Saturday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. on either ESPN2 or ESPNU. The other three appearances are also conference games on ESPN3 against New Mexico and UNLV.

The Cowboys can be seen twice on CBS Sports Network, and both are games moved to Tuesday’s in MW play for TV. First is a game at San Diego State on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 8 p.m. The other will be when UW hosts UNLV, now set for Tuesday, Feb. 19, also at 8 p.m.

Three more Wyoming games will be part of the Mountain West Network on Stadium. That includes the visit by South Carolina Wednesday, Dec. 5, and both conference games with Boise State (home, Jan. 2 and road, Jan. 26).

It was previously announced that both Cowboy basketball games in The Rocket Mortgage by Quicken Loans Fort Myers Tip-off will be shown on FS1 Nov. 19 and Nov. 21.

There are some other games that could possibly be televised through conferences that have agreements with various networks, but those are not available at this time.

The start time for all home games for men’s basketball has been set.

Wyoming’s lone exhibition contest is Nov. 1 versus Colorado Christian in Laramie at 7 p.m.
