General Election Results in County Contested Races

Here are the results in some of the contested races in Laramie County.

LCSD#1 Board of Trustees

Marguerite Herman was the top vote getter in the race for the four seats on the Laramie County School District #1 Board of Trustees. Herman received 14.4 percent of the vote. Incumbent Sandy Shanor received 13.1 percent. Mark Klassen took 12.5 perecent of the vote. There will be an automatic recount in the race for the fourth seat. Jim Landen and Lee Beidleman were seperated by only 2 votes.

Laramie County Commissioner

In the laramie county commission race, Incumbent Republican TroyThompson was the top voter getter with 30-percent of the vote. Republican Linda Health received 28-percent of the vote and Democrat Ron Kailey received 22-percent. Incumbent M. Lee Hasenhour failed in his re-election bid receiving 19-percent of the vote.

Laramie County Sheriff

Laramie County Sheriff Danny Glick won re-election by a 72 to 27 percent margin over Democrat Taso Kallas.
