Ready to have some fun on the first Friday of July?

Stop by The Midtown Tavern tonight, July 5, and hear local musician George Ball entertain for free. He mixes in some original arrangements with an eclectic assortment of songs from over the years. George is always fun to hang out with here in the KING studio downtown, as you can tell from the photo. The Midtown Tavern provides a great venue for a wide variety of live entertainers at 1303 East Pershing Boulevard. Look for the red sign that says Anderson's Other Corner and you'll know you're in the right place.

George Ball has been playing around the area for the past 25 years, doing solo shows and performing as part of many of the local bands. The versatile musician plays guitar, mandolin and violin. (those are just the instruments he's brought up to the KING studio)

He also likes to promote other Wyoming artists and bands, so don't be surprised if you hear a Jalan Crossland song in one of his sets.

Here's some audio from George's appearance at KING FM on July 5th playing a Jackson Browne song called 'These Days.'
