Do you have trouble folding a road map? Try folding this one from National Geographic, it's 35 by 26 feet and weighs over 100 pounds.

Students at St Mary's Catholic School in Cheyenne are exploring North America this week with one of the world's largest maps of the continent. National Geographic's Giant Traveling Maps program will display the vinyl map in the Multi-purpose Room of St Mary's through Wednesday, April 27th from 8:30 a.m. through 11 a.m. and between one and three in the afternoons.

The map is designed for Kindergartners through eighth graders and comes with a trunk full of accessories, including interactive games, geography adventures, atlases and books to teach students about the physical characteristics of the continent as well as it's history and various cultures.

In Wyoming the map is sponsored by the Wyoming Geographic Alliance and the Wyoming National Guard.
