Gimme Back my Tailgate!

Cheyenne Police report a surge in the theft of truck tailgates.

I had no idea this was happening. It's gotten so bad here and in other cities, there are actually companies that make tailgate anti-theft devices. Most tailgate thieves can steal a truck tail gate in under 15 seconds without an anti-theft device.

Over the past month over 15 tailgates were taken from Cheyenne Ford F-250 owners. They even had rear tailgate cameras. Tailgate locks are available from Amazon and other truck supply houses online.
