Girl Seeks New Record For ‘World’s Longest Tongue’, Gene Simmons Hangs His Head in Shame

Adrianne Lewis, a 18 year old year girl from Michigan, recently laid claim to having the longest tongue in the world. Although she has yet to be officially recognized by the Guiness Book of Word Records, she believes her four inch long tongue is longer than current record holder Nick Stoeberi, whose tongue measures in at 3.97 inches.

Which begs the question, how does she measure up against the legendary tongue of KIss bassist Gene Simmons?  Sadly, Simmons has never publicly revealed the exact size of his tongue. However, his famous tongue has been the subject of several rumors over the years, some of which are true.

For example, Gene Simmons did briefly publish a magazine called 'Tongue' in the early 2000's. And he did, reportedly, once have his tongue insured for a million dollars. However, there is no truth that Gene had the tendons underneath his tongue removed in order to make it longer. Nor did Simmons have a cow tongue surgically grafted to his.

One thing is for sure, Gene isn't bashful when it comes to wagging his famous tongue. And neither is Adrianne Lewis, whose tongue even has its own Twitter page. Hopefully someday, the Simmons and Lewis can meet for a tongue showdown.
