50 Years ago today, three shots changed the world. It was November 22nd of 1969, John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States, was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, while riding in an open-top convertible.

A lot of things have changed since then, but one thing remains the same. We still have a peaceful transition of power, every four years, with a ballot, not a bullet.
