National Beer Day was enacted when President Franklin Roosevelt signed a law that made it legal to brew and sell beer in the US.

The bill was signed into law on March 23rd, 1933 and was enacted on April 7th.

These days there seems to be a craft brewery in just about every beer loving town in the US.  And with so many tasty options, why is there only one day of celebration?  Well according to usnationalbeerday.com, April 7th was designated as the day we should all celebrate the opportunity to drink beer the other 364 days of the year.

With that said, time to hoist a pint or two to BEER and enjoy National Beer Day, on Friday April 7th, 2017!  Cheers!!
