There were some scary moments Friday afternoon at a trailer park in north Greeley.

The Greeley Tribune reports that police responded to a disturbance at a mobile home in the Villa West mobile home park, in the 2700 block of C Street, and found that a man with a felony warrant out of Utah was at the residence and refused to come out, according to Greeley police.

The Greeley police SWAT team was on scene with weapons drawn for several hours, and officers had the home, next to the park, surrounded. The unidentified man walked out with his hands up about just after 5 p.m. as SWAT team members pointed their weapons at him and shouted commands.

Greeley police Capt. Juan Cruz said police did not believe the man was armed, but they couldn’t be sure so they took every precaution.
