Greenway Art Exhibit Planned

The Cheyenne Greenway Foundation and the Cheyenne Artists Guild are holding an exhibition at the guild this month for art to be placed on the greenway.

The proposed location for the artwork is the north wing wall of the greenway underpass at Lincolnway into Holliday Park. Seven artists have submitted drawings, paintings, sketches and maquettes. Many of the pieces currently an exhibit at the artists guild are also for sale.

Finalists for the greenway display will be announced on September 7, and the winning artist will be announced on September 18th.

There is a $1000 prize for the winning artist and art piece.
