Guess Who’s Coming to the Wyoming State Fair on Tuesday

Have you heard who's entertaining at the Wyoming State Fair this week?

The Guess Who will play Tuesday, August 14, and all tickets are only $15.

Opening for the band out of Winnipeg, Canada will be Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers starting at 7 p.m.

You might have seen that Wyoming band open for Merle Haggard during Cheyenne Frontier Days.

They will also perform with Western Underground in a Tribute to Chris Ledoux on Saturday, August 18.

On Wednesday, August 15, country artist Dierks Bentley will entertain with Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers opening.

The Guess Who had a string of hits beginning in the mid-60's including 'These Eyes,' 'No Sugar Tonight,' 'New Mother Nature' and 'American Woman.'

The band has undergone numerous personnel changes over the years. The current lineup features:

Garry Peterson on drums and vocals (an original member of The Guess Who)

Jim Kale on bass and vocals (also an original member of the band)

Leonard Shaw playing keyboards, flute and singing

Derek Sharp on guitar and lead vocals (he joined the band full time in 2009)

Laurie MacKenzie on guitar and vocals (he's the newest member of the band)
