A report of a gun shot lead to the arrest of two people early Thursday morning, according to a spokeswoman for the Laramie County Sheriff's Department.

Captain Linda Gesell says deputies were called to 6117 Laramie St. shortly before 1 a.m. on a report of someone shooting a gun and damaging property. Gesell says deputies found a shot had been fired at the drivers window of a car and went out the front windshield.

Deputies say the victim told them Chris Eagleroad and Tonie Beck had came to his trailer looking for a woman who had never lived there. The victim said that soon after that he heard a gun shot.

Gesell says a search was conducted for Eagleroad and Beck, and they were soon found inside the city limits of Cheyenne. Gesell says Beck had a.38 revolver from which a single shot had been fired. Both Beck and Eagleroad had outstanding warrants, and the Silver Audi Eagleroad was driving had been reported as stolen in Colorado.

A gunshot residue test was conducted on both Eagleroad and Beck, and the results of those tests have been sent to the Wyoming State Crime Lab for analysis.

Both Beck and Eagleroad were arrested, and could face other charges once the residue tests are finished.
