Their sold out, two-and-a-half-hour set at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center also included ‘Welcome to the Jungle,’ ‘Paradise City‘ (complete with a lengthy intro), ‘Patience,’ ‘You Could Be Mine,’ ‘Nightrain,’ ‘Mr. Brownstone,’ ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine,’ ‘It’s So Easy’ and ‘November Rain.’
Next, Guns N’ Roses joins Kid Rock, Slayer and Avenged Sevenfold at the huge annual Rock on the Range music festival in Ohio, followed by an intimate residency in Las Vegas. You can buy tickets for those Sin City shows, which kick off May 21, right here.
“There’s nothing real solid after that,” GNR’s Dizzy Reed told Sight of Sound. As for additional surprise covers, or even the prospect of hearing new material over these next dates, Reed says: “You never know. You just never know.”
This was Guns N’ Roses first performance in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley since a 1987 show at the former Airport Road Music Hall. Axl Rose and company earlier covered this Who classic as part of their 2012 run in Vegas.
