Hasenauer Resigning As Tea Party Organizer

Laramie County Commissioner M. Lee Hasenauer says he is resigning from his role as Laramie County Tea Party organizer to focus on his job as a county commissioner.

Hasenauer says he still supports the tea party movement and will continue to remain active, but adds it’s “time to give someone else a chance” as organizer. Hasenauer’s seat on the commission is up for election this year, but he hasn’t formally announced whether he plans to run for re-election.

Hasenauer is not sure whether he will host a final tea party event next month to say goodbye as organizer.
