Roy Clark was a country-western musician and star of the popular television series "Hee Haw." Clark passed away in 2018 at the age of 85. Clark was also a beloved entertainer at Cheyenne Frontier Days, where he performed four times.

Clark's first visit to the "Daddy of 'Em All" was in 1972. At the time, his virtuoso musical talent and homespun humor made him one of the biggest stars in America. He was Johnny Carson's go-to guest host on The Tonight Show through the late '60s and '70s.

The "Hee Haw" host returned to CFD in 1973, 1976, and 1985. In 2007, he was inducted into the Cheyenne Frontier Days Hall of Fame, joining fellow country music legends Johnny Cash, Chris LeDoux, Reba McEntire, and George Strait.
