Dutchman Theodorus Van Vilet, of the Netherlands, pleaded guilty to crashing his drone into the Grand Prismatic Spring in August of this year. Now, a judge has ordered him to pay a $1,000 fine and $2,200 in restitution.

Grand Prismatic Spring, in The Midway Geyser Basin, is the park’s largest hot spring, measuring some 370 feet in diameter and is over 121 feet deep. The drone is still at the bottom.

A week ago, a 37-year-old German man pleaded guilty to crashing his drone into Yellowstone Lake. He was ordered to pay $1,600 in fines and restitution.
