Here comes that big snow storm. Before it hits it is a good idea to inspect the shovel and stock up on salt. But not just for your own porch or walk.

According to the City of Cheyenne, residents have just 24 hours after the snow stops to shovel the sidewalks in front of their homes.

But what about those who are not able to shovel their own walks?

Cheyenne City Councilman Richard Johnson has started a snow removal program for those who are not able due to age or illness.

The group is not affiliated with the City of Cheyenne.

Not everyone that adds their name does so for free of charge. Payment is negotiable.
