It's a fact. Pets go missing.

Our radio engineer's Samson has recently joined that long list. Matt is currently looking for his beloved furry best friend. Samson disappeared while Matt was working on our station's transmitter in the Wyoming winds. Please read his story below.
Samson came to work with me at the radio station site on Monday 10/17 as he sometimes does. I was hanging public safety signs around our new tower fencing and saw Sam a few times throughout the morning. He loves to hunt for mice out in the field by the site, and he will normally join back up with me after a couple of hours for some water. After working a few hours in the fierce 65+ mph wind, I ate some lunch in the car and went to work inside the building. I thought it was odd not seeing Sam for about an hour at that point. It wasn't completely out of the ordinary to have him run in the fields for hours though. But when it was time to leave for the day, Samson was nowhere to be found. I continued to look for him for six hours that afternoon, with my wife Sarah joining me in the evening. We absolutely scoured the area looking for Sam.  We are still looking for him today.

Samson has been in our family for 10 years, and has spent countless days at job sites with me. He was raised in the High Rockies of Colorado and has had experiences and a certain toughness that few other dogs could share. He has spent a lot of time in the mountains and at radio transmitter sites. He has always been our faithful companion during summer hikes and winter backcountry ski trips. Samson has been my loyal work partner during most of my days spent at radio sites. Please enjoy this little album of our best friend Samson Rodney.
