High West Energy announced Tuesday that it will offer a bill pay extension to furloughed government employees, recognizing that the government shutdown could have a dramatic impact on the finances of hardworking member families.

Those members impacted by the shutdown should contact High West Energy by October 28 at (307) 245-3261 to request an extension. Bills normally due on October 28 will be due on December 2. Late fees for the October billing cycle will be waived for qualifying members.

Brian Heithoff, general manager at High West Energy says “our proximity to Cheyenne, a military town and capital city, makes us sensitive to the impact the government shutdown is having on every day working families.”
