Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill says her opponents are politically motivated and have no regard for the truth.

Hill is currently involved in a court fight with the state over whether she should resume leadership of the State Department of Education. She was removed from those duties last year by Senate File 104, which the state Supreme Court has ruled unconstitutional.

She says that while proponents of the legislation say they are concerned about education, they are really motivated strictly by politics, and have an "anything goes" mentality towards her.

She adds that those against her don't mind lying to further their goals. She's been surprised by the "viciousness of certain politicians" in her dispute.
