Laramie County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Gerry Luce said on Friday  investigators have no new leads in their investigation into a hit and run incident which injured a 23 year old Nevada woman Wednesday afternoon. Luce did say, however, that the injured woman did not incur a broken leg in the incident, as originally thought, although her leg was injured.

He says the woman was part of a sales group that was working in the area of Beckle, Reese and Ashley Roads just east of Cheyenne a little before 2:30 pm Wednesday, when she was hit by a green  pickup truck driven by an older, balding white male. Luce says the vehicle may have damage on the front driver side.

The model year of the vehicle is unknown, according to Luce. He says anyone who may have information on the incident should call the sheriff’s department at (307) 633-4725 or the Cheyenne Silent Witness/Crimestoppers at  (307) 638 TIPS (8477). Luce says callers to the second number will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
