As we get closer to Independence Day on July 4 in Cheyenne, you may be looking for something fun to do. Why not an old fashioned carriage ride with the family?

Downtown Cheyenne is alive and well this time of year, so I thought I would offer some suggestions on how to occupy some time this weekend.

If you’re looking for something “outdoorsy” without having to walk a lot, I would suggest taking a ride on the Horse-Drawn Carriage which will take you though the downtown Cheyenne area.

Weather permitting, of course, you and your family will enjoy the open air as you cruise up and down the street in Cheyenne. This ride is absolutely FREE, however they do accept donations. You’ll find a lot of historic narration from the driver on this particular tour. He does a great job and the photo opportunities are fantastic.

For early check in and to see what times the carriage is running, call 307-778-3133. Have fun as you take a ride into Cheyenne Wyoming’s historical past.
