Is your car covered in road salt?

During these beautiful days between snow storms, I've seen lots of people at Cheyenne's car washes, are you clean or are you still salty?

In the parking lots around Cheyenne, it's very obvious who has visited a car wash and who hasn't. As the snow melts, streets and highways get sloppy and wet, splashing vehicles with all kinds of dirt and grime.

Some of the salt used on the roads can damage the paint and metal of your car, so it's a good idea to wash it off periodically throughout the winter months. Make sure the temperature is above 20 degrees so you don't freeze your doors shut.

This week it looks like another snow storm is headed our way Thursday and into the start of the weekend, with Sunday's highs expected to reach into the mid 20's. Keep your vehicle looking good this winter and avoid new rust buildup while supporting Cheyenne's many car washes.
