Wyoming votes to raise the speed limit from 75 to 80 mph.

The State House Transportation, Highways and Military Affairs Committee is considering a bill that would allow you to drive up to 80 mph on certain roads in Wyoming. I don't know about you, but I can barely drive 70 on local freeways. Law enforcement folks are real concerned about the safety issues here.

My vote is for faster speed limits based on clear and clean road conditions. 80 when it's warm and sunny, with clear roads and lower during inclement weather. The bill now goes to the house for full debate. We'll keep you posted.
