I'll Have Another edged Bodemeister to win the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Track in Baltimore today, May 19.

With a victory at the Belmont Stakes on June 9, I'll Have Another could be the first Triple Crown winner in horse racing since Affirmed did it in 1978.

The come-from-behind win, passing the leader Bodemeister in the last 100 yards, was similar to I'll Have Another's conquest at the Kentucky Derby.

Twenty-five-year-old jockey Mario Gutierrez rode the colt to the winner's circle with Bodemeister second and Creative Cause coming in third.

Sources say Bodemeister will not race at the Belmont Stakes in New York.
