The intersection of East 21st Street and Logan Avenue will be closed starting on Friday, March 27 for utility work as part of the Logan Avenue Reconstruction Project.

The intersection is scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, April 1, weather permitting.

Detours will be posted, according to City of Cheyenne spokesman Scott Smith.

The Logan Avenue Reconstruction Project is between Nationway and East Pershing Boulevard. Logan Avenue is being reconstructed with new sewer, water lines, stormwater drains, sidewalks, curb, gutter and new road surface.

The project is slated to be completed in late November 2015. Reiman Corp. of Cheyenne is the general contractor for the project.

The cost of this project is $7.7 million with funding from the Fifth-Penny Tax and the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities.
