UPDATE 12:27 p.m. The southbound lane of Interstate 25 at milepost 6 has now reopened to passenger vehicles after being closed earlier today due to a crash. However, due to high winds, I-25 is currently closed to light, high-profile vehicles between the Colorado state line and exit 126 near Glendo. WYDOT has also issued an advisory for extreme blow over risk for that stretch of the interstate.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation says the southbound lane of Interstate 25 is currently closed near the Wyoming-Colorado state line at milepost 6 due to a crash.

Motorists traveling in that direction should be prepared to stop and to expect travel delays.
