There's nothing worse than telemarketers, but every once and awhile, the average person gets a chance at sweet revenge.

Have you ever received a call saying you'd won a free cruise? If so, you could be entitled to part of a 12.5 million dollar settlement.

class action lawsuit was filed by Philip Charvat against Resort Marketing Group, Inc (RMG). According to the lawsuit, RMG violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) when they made automated telephone calls to consumers to offer a free cruise with Carnival, Royal Caribbean Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Lines.

The settlement, lawsuit and attorneys website Top Class Actions states:

Class Members who submit valid and timely claims may receive payments for up to three calls per telephone number at $300 per call, for a total maximum payment of $900 per telephone number.

These are the maximum possible payments. Actual payments will be determined in part by the number of claims received.

If your cellular or landline number is part of the lawsuit, you will be prompted to fill out a claim form that needs to be submitted no later than November 3, 2017.

With anywhere between $300 to $900 at stake, most definitely check to see if your number is included and share this with all your family members and friends.
