You may think that it's a bit early, but it's never to early to start thinking about the warm, sunny weather and what you are going to plant and garden this year.  The Cheyenne High Plains Audubon Society is putting on a great little conference that they are calling the Habitat Hero Workshop.

You don't want to miss out on this great event featuring plant biologist and author of "Rocky Mountain Garden Survival Guide", Susan Tweit and along with other experts on water and plant life.

This isn't going to be your typical boring seminar, but there will be open discussions on wildscapes for your yard, plant life, pollinators and how to attract them to your yard. They'll also highlight what types of plants will thrive in this region, how to grow them and where to find them.

Plus - You can draw up your yard and submit it to the experts and, if selected, they will show you ideas that may work for your own yard! If your yard is already site-worthy, you can register your yard for the workshop here.

There is limited seating for the event, and tickets may be going faster than you think. The workshop only costs $15 a person and includes a LCCC sponsored lunch and a copy of "Growing Native Plants of the Rocky Mountain Area" by Jane Dorn.

Register today on line at Brown Paper Tickets to be one of 100 available seats today. What a great way to get your mind going in the "spring" direction. Happy Gardening!
